Happy Holidays

For those who are in town, we have a pickup/scrimmage Tuesday at 7:30. Also, Fox and I are meeting to run/throw at 2pm on Tuesday and Thursday at the Cobb County Civic Center. Weather looks to be good this week.

For those of you who are not in town, you should be running 5x60/50 intervals at least twice a week, preferably 3 times a week. Throw as much as possible. Have fun, and be ready to work once school starts back up.

Oh, if anyone is interested, I posted a basic outline of our plan for this coming semester here.

Exam Week

Light week again this week, the only thing we have planned is a pickup/scrimmage Tuesday night at 7:30. We'll also run some intervals Tuesday. You should still be running intervals AT LEAST twice a week, and preferably 3 times a week. We're doing 5 sets of 60 running/50 walking. Wear yourself out please. You should continue doing these over the holidays.

What are you going to do to improve the team over the holidays? Fox and I are going to be meeting at least twice a week, during the day, out at the Cobb County Civic Center to run and throw. Not sure what days yet, might change week to week, but I'll post the schedule here each week. I encourage anyone who is in town to come out and run and throw with us. You're much more likely to workout if you've got a partner.

Happy Holidays and good luck on your exams.

Post-Auburn, Pre-Exams

Tough weekend as I hear it. Hopefully everyone realizes now how much work it's going to take to be competitive this year. Everyone should be stewing on that over the holidays. Work out hard. Come ready to kill next January. We all need to be busting our asses. I know I plan on stepping up my workouts, and I really need to just get out and throw more often. Maybe we can get a regular daytime throwing session so anyone who is free can just come out and throw. We all should be throwing every day. I know I don't, but I'm going to try and get better about it.

Exams are next week and I know a lot of you will be cramming. So we're going to cancel Monday and Tuesday's practice. We're still going to try and scrimmage KSU Thursday.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't be doing anything this week. I'd like you all to do the 5x60/50 interval 3 times this week (we'll do it Thursday). Throw as much as possible. Study.

See everyone Thursday.
